These terms explain how RealPlate is provided and the basis on which you may use it.
RealPlate is an independent project operated from the United Kingdom. It is currently a free beta and takes no payment.

RealPlate is a meal-planning website that provides weekly dinner plans, recipes, shopping-list tools and estimated supermarket shopping costs. It is intended for personal and household use.
You must not misuse RealPlate, attempt to interfere with the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase paid access to RealPlate. If you are under 18, you may only use RealPlate with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
RealPlate may offer paid access to certain features, recipes, planning tools or other content.
Where RealPlate offers Founding Access, this means access to the paid version of RealPlate for the period stated at checkout. Founding Access is currently 24 months from purchase, unless stated otherwise.
Founding Access is a one-off payment and is not a recurring subscription. It does not renew automatically.
Paid access is for access to the RealPlate service. Retailer links, supermarket-specific product suggestions, pricing estimates and shopping-list features are convenience features and are not guaranteed to remain available, accurate or unchanged for the full access period.
Access is linked to the email address used at checkout. After payment, access details will be sent to that email address. You are responsible for entering your email address correctly.
Founding Access does not give you ownership of RealPlate, its recipes, code, data, design or content. It gives you permission to access and use the paid RealPlate service during your access period.
Access may be provided through a secure access link, email-based sign-in, licence token, magic link, account login, or another access method.
You must not share your paid access link, token or login details with other people. We may suspend or remove access if we reasonably believe access is being misused, shared publicly, resold, or used in a way that harms the service.
If you lose access, clear your browser storage, or change device, you may be able to request a new access link using the email address used at checkout.
RealPlate is an early-stage service. Features, recipes, design, supermarket coverage, retailer links, pricing estimates, shopping-list tools and functionality may change over time.
We may add, remove, rename, replace or alter features as the service develops. This includes changing or removing retailer links, supermarket-specific product suggestions, pricing estimates or shopping-list functionality.
Founding Access gives you access to the paid RealPlate service for the period stated at checkout. It does not guarantee that every current feature, retailer link, supermarket, product suggestion, price estimate or design element will remain unchanged for the full access period.
However, we will aim to provide substantially similar access to the paid RealPlate service during that period.
If we make a material change that substantially reduces the paid service you purchased, you may contact us and we will consider an appropriate remedy. This may include continued access, an alternative feature, or a partial refund for the unused access period.
RealPlate® is a registered trade mark. You may not use the RealPlate name, logo or branding without our written permission.
The recipes, text, images, design, code, data and pricing research on RealPlate are owned by us or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
You may use RealPlate content for your own personal and household use. This includes printing, saving or exporting recipes and shopping lists for your own cooking and shopping.
You may not copy, republish, redistribute, resell, scrape or bulk-download RealPlate content or data, use it for commercial purposes, or use it to build or train a competing product, service or dataset, without our written permission.
Recipes, cooking times, quantities, costs, product suggestions and instructions are provided for guidance only. Results may vary depending on ingredients, equipment, substitutions, product availability, pack sizes and cooking methods.
You are responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, dietary suitability, food safety, cooking temperatures and cooking food properly. This includes storing, freezing and reheating any leftovers safely: any storage or reheating suggestions on RealPlate are general guidance only, and you should follow the Food Standards Agency's advice on chilling, freezing and reheating food, including its specific advice on rice.
Always check the physical product packaging, ingredient list, allergen information, suitability labels, pricing, size and quantity before purchasing, preparing or consuming any product. Retailer information, product ingredients, allergen information, availability, prices and packaging may change without notice.
Any calorie and protein figures shown are estimates only, calculated from typical ingredient values. They are not measured or laboratory-tested, and will vary with brands, pack sizes, substitutions and how you cook. They are a rough planning guide, not a nutrition declaration, and must not be relied on for medical or dietary needs.
RealPlate does not provide medical, nutritional or dietary advice. You should not rely on RealPlate as a substitute for professional advice, especially if you have allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, dietary restrictions or specialist nutritional requirements.
Supermarket prices, product availability, promotions, pack sizes, substitutions, delivery charges, minimum order values and product links may change. RealPlate shopping costs are indicative estimates only and may differ from the final price charged by the retailer at checkout.
The guide prices shown on RealPlate are manually checked against Tesco online listings at the date shown. Product links are provided for convenience. Prices and availability may change at any time.
Any prices shown on RealPlate are provided for general planning purposes only. They are not a quote, offer, price promise or guarantee.
Retailer links, product suggestions and shopping-list features are provided for convenience only. They may be inaccurate, unavailable, changed, substituted, removed or discontinued at any time.
RealPlate is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially connected with Tesco or any other supermarket or retailer unless clearly stated.
External links to retailers or other websites are provided for convenience. RealPlate is not responsible for the content, availability, prices, substitutions, product information, allergen information, delivery terms, checkout process, privacy practices or policies of third-party websites.
RealPlate is a digital service. By purchasing paid access, you agree that RealPlate digital access begins immediately after payment.
You acknowledge that once access is provided, you lose your 14-day right to cancel. This does not affect your statutory rights if the service is faulty, not as described, or not provided.
If you have not received your access details, were charged twice, entered the wrong email address, or have a problem using RealPlate, contact us and we will try to resolve the issue fairly.
If we issue a refund, your paid access may be revoked.
RealPlate may change, be updated, or be unavailable from time to time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, accurate or error-free.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
RealPlate is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, loss of data, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or losses caused by reliance on estimated shopping prices, recipe results, product suggestions, retailer links, third-party retailer information, allergen information, product availability, substitutions, user substitutions or changes made by third-party retailers.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in your local courts.
